We are now seeking an experienced Corporate Security Professional to join our team in a hybrid role that combines remote work with time in our office. About the Role: Contributing to Delta's Continued Success As a Corporate Security Professional at Delta Airlines, you will play a critical role in our efforts to maintain and enhance the safety and security of our operations, employees, and customers. This position requires a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of global security threats and trends. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence reports to support our security initiatives and ensure that we are always prepared to address emerging threats. Key Responsibilities: Stay up-to-date with the latest global threat elements and trends, including those related to terrorism, violent crime, narcotics trafficking, and civil unrest. Gather, analyze, and help compose and disseminate intelligence reports to Delta partners, including communications to teams, security assessments for new station openings, and intelligence support for special events. Utilize your understanding of the global security climate to prioritize, filter, and assess the credibility of open-source intelligence reports and sources. Collect and manage intelligence data to feed into our station risk assessment program and other intelligence-based security risk evaluation programs. Support the team by writing reports and other communication items and drive process improvements across our security programs. Present the results of your analysis and other items to Management, conducting briefings/presentations as needed. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Support contact and engagement efforts with government partners, industry partners, and private intelligence vendors. Uphold regulatory requirements and manage ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Essential Qualifications: What You Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. The ability to work well in a team environment, with a high level of initiative and drive. A current pursuit of a BA/BS or advanced degree in a relevant field such as International Relations, Economics, Global Studies, Government, Political Science, Security Studies, or a related field. Knowledge of US and international security policy, with an understanding of trends in the global security climate, particularly with regards to terrorism/counterterrorism and the aviation industry. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), with a high level of proficiency. Familiarity with data collection tools is a plus. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. The capacity to develop both internal and external networks freely. A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to communicate detailed international analysis through oral and written means to all levels of management.
