Job Overview As an IT Business Analyst at Delta Airlines, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational sustainability of the company's critical infrastructure, including data centers and remote communication rooms. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive hourly salary of $27, along with a range of benefits and perks that reflect Delta's commitment to its employees' well-being and success. Key Responsibilities Provide IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational maintainability of critical infrastructure. Manage IT labs to align with client application and engineering teams, providing workstations, hardware, and access to test applications. Coordinate with professional services to maintain and repair critical infrastructure at remote communication rooms. Oversee the management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment. Develop and implement data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure. Support IT offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and grounds facilities underground fiber ring. Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all governing corporate principles and guidelines. Manage projects related to data center and remote communication room capital upgrades, updates, and improvements. Source IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and verifying that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Strong knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure. Experience with project management of remote communication room capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements. Capital forecasting and project management for airport critical hardware life cycle replacement. Support Corporate Real Estate projects that involve remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices delegate and on-site assessment reporting. Space, UPS Power, and critical cooling capacity management. Sourcing of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and verifying that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks within established time limitations. Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call work requirements. Preferred Qualifications IT project management experience (minimum 3 years) within a high-availability communication room or data center working environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment. Experience with IT service management and incident management processes. Knowledge of IT infrastructure management tools and technologies.
