Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Billing & Reconciliation Representative, you will play a vital role in managing the billing process, accurately handling billing issues with Hospice patient accounts, and resolving outstanding balances. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue cycle management. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing and reconciling the monthly census for hospice patients to ensure accuracy and completeness Assisting in the preparation of monthly customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing Addressing various billing issues with hospice accounts, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems Working within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, with some latitude over prioritization and timing, and minimal direction Following standard policies and practices, with opportunity for interpretation and deviation, and independent discretion Required Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 1+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with a strong foundation in billing and revenue cycle management Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Intermediate-level experience with MS Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets Experience with other MS Office tools, such as Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency A passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences, with a commitment to putting health first Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Experience in Hospice or Pharmacy Billing, with a strong understanding of the revenue cycle management process A strong background in identifying and resolving billing issues, with the ability to escalate complex problems as needed Work-At-Home Requirements and Expectations To ensure your success in this role, you will need to meet the following work-at-home requirements: A self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps A dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions, to protect member PHI/HIPAA information Telephone equipment provided by Humana, to meet the business requirements for your position Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Enclara Healthcare, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
