Job DescriptionReedsy Learning is our online publishing school, with over 50 courses and over 200,000 students to date. More recently, we introduced How to Write a Novel, a masterclass to help authors complete their novel in just 3 months. We’re looking for a Community Intern to assist the Reedsy Learning team with managing our community of writers, as well as promoting the course and events. You will learn about community building, email outreach, influencer campaigns, and growth marketing. In your internship, you will:Identify and contact new leads for affiliate and influencer outreach;Manage communication with our influencers and affiliates;Engage with students and moderate chat spaces on our custom community app (Circle);Help moderate live webinars; andGenerate ideas for introducing our course and events to new audiences. RequirementsWe’re looking for someone with:Analytical mindExperience identifying audiences and targeting them with marketing campaignsExperience with community managementGood understanding of Google SuiteStrong writing skillsNative-level English speakerAvailability to work full-time for 6 monthsBonus PointsBackground in creative writing and/or growth marketingA desire to initiate and act on your own ideasProven experience in managing communities and scaling acquisition for a startup or a fast-growing companyFluent in multiple languages.
