About Delta Airlines and the In-Flight Administration Team Delta Airlines is a renowned airline that has been a benchmark for excellence in the industry. The In-Flight Administration team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of flights, and as a Field Service Manager, you will be an integral part of this team. You will be working closely with Airline stewards, leaders, and other stakeholders to drive employee engagement, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Builds positive relationships with leaders and Airline stewards to maintain workforce engagement, commitment, and flexibility. Responsible for the performance-based management of large teams of Airline stewards on KPIs such as security, reliability, customer satisfaction, and finances through recognition, coaching, verbal and written delivery of corrective action, when appropriate. Promotes health, wellness, a safe workplace, and safe work practices. Accountable for ensuring and addressing Quality Assurance issues such as uniform compliance, overall performance, and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with base support staff, different departments, and internal/external partners, including the Flight Attendants Union Group, to provide information and solutions for continuous improvements for base operational requirements and staff or administrative issues. Participates in leader flying program; includes on-board customer and employee engagement while supporting Airline steward team. Proactively responds to and follows up on time-sensitive matters and competing needs requiring base communication, input, and/or feedback. Provides essential support to Airline stewards before, during, and after flight departure. Acts as contact and support for assigned projects within the base and/or division. Communicates regularly with remote Airline steward workforce from base location. Role models Delta's Values and guiding principles. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities in a high-speed and constantly changing environment. Must be able to handle confidential information with professionalism, caution, and discretion. Proven consistent problem-solving skills in a high-pressure, time-critical environment. Experience in coaching and delivering feedback for developmental purposes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office applications. If not already Flight Attendant qualified, must successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training and maintain qualifications. Preferred Qualifications The following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Two years of experience in In-Flight Administration, three years of Delta experience, and/or external supervisory experience preferred.
