As a remote worker, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing potentially concerning student activity, working flexibly within your own schedule. About Gaggle and Our Mission Gaggle's Safety Management department offers a 24x7 service that helps identify and uncover critical issues affecting students in grades K-12, including drug use, bullying, threats of school violence, teen depression, suicidal intentions, and abusive domestic situations. Key Responsibilities As a Content Review Independent Safety Contractor, your primary responsibilities will include: Review and Analysis: Review and analyze student activity to identify potentially inappropriate usage, including words, phrases, statements, and images within email, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and other digital platforms. Content Processing: Process content correctly and efficiently, adhering to metrics provided by Gaggle and regularly visible to Independent Contractors. Escalation and Communication: Escalate questionable findings to Gaggle Safety Representatives and communicate and collaborate via chat with a nationwide team. Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Content Review Independent Safety Contractor, you will need: Relevant Experience: Experience in education, crisis management, safety content review, child advocacy, or a related field. Reading and Analytical Skills: A keen eye for detail and the ability to focus attention on reading content of varying lengths. Judgment and Discretion: The ability to delineate between potentially harmful student matters and harmless situations, exhibiting tolerance and respect for others' opinions. Independence and Self-Motivation: The ability to work independently, with experience working as an Independent Contractor preferred. Technical Requirements: Access to high-speed internet (satellite is not acceptable) and a computer, Chromebook, or laptop (tablets/phones are not acceptable). Work Environment and Schedule As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work within your own schedule. However, please note: 24/7/365 Team: The majority of work available will be between 7am and 4pm Central Time, Monday through Friday, with a lesser but consistent need for work outside of those hours. Non-Renewing Contract: This is a non-renewing, Independent Contractor assignment, and the duration of the contract is not guaranteed. Variable Workloads and Hours: Workloads and hours will vary, and contracts can be terminated at any time.
