We are seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our team as an Engineering Project Coordinator. This role is crucial in managing all document submittals from customers, suppliers, and internal partners in support of new commercial nuclear reactor projects. As a key contributor to the engineering team, you will play a vital role in driving success and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Key Responsibilities In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Managing documentation submittals from customers, suppliers, and internal partners based on project deliverable requirements. Transmitting documentation as needed to relevant parties while following internal requirements. Working closely with suppliers to ensure submittal due dates are adhered to. Reviewing submittals for completeness and compliance with applicable requirements according to the procurement contract. Verifying that all documents have been properly reviewed and approved by the appropriate parties within the scheduled timeframe. Preparing and issuing reports related to submittal and approval status. Providing front-line support for users who may experience issues during the documentation submission and review process. Creating, uploading, and managing records within the product lifecycle management tool. Ensuring that documents management procedures, including the use of proper structure and templates, are adhered to by all parties. Collaborating with subject matter experts in the creation and implementation of documentation. Reporting and resolving any non-conformances and process issues in a timely manner. Supporting company initiatives, such as LEAN, continuous improvement, and digitalization. Ensuring ongoing conformance to quality assurance program requirements, standards, and practices. Mentoring and training team members when necessary. Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments. Investigating problem areas and platform needs, and developing recommendations for platform development programs and maintenance. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. At least 5 years of experience working with suppliers and supplier document submittals. Experience with change, configuration, document/drawing management. Experience in implementing new engineering support tools and their periodic updates. Experience with Oracle ERP and Enovia's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool. Experience in a regulated industry, such as power, process, marine, medical, or oil and gas, but preferably nuclear under a 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Quality Program for safety-related systems, structures, and components. Familiarity with 10CFR 810 regulation. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Strong oral and written communication skills.
