About the Team and Role The Finance & Strategy team is a dynamic and collaborative group that partners with teams across the company to drive business growth. As an Associate, Finance and Strategy, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that we're making efficient, data-driven decisions that support our business objectives. Your primary focus will be on evaluating the effectiveness of our various products and developing creative ways to grow them. Key Responsibilities Partner with teams across the business to support financial decisions and drive growth Evaluate the effectiveness of our products and develop strategies to improve them Build financial models to improve our understanding of the business and drive data-driven decision making Manage budgets for various teams and ensure that we're allocating resources efficiently Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities and solutions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: 1-3 years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector or well-established company Experience managing budgets for various teams and allocating resources efficiently Intermediate Excel proficiency (or a willingness to learn) and the ability to build financial models A strong understanding of financial concepts and principles Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Knowledge of financial planning and analysis principles Experience with financial modeling and data analysis A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Certifications such as CFA or CPA Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to build financial models and drive data-driven decision making Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At DoorDash, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
