Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Industrial and Process Engineer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As an Industrial and Process Engineer I-V, you'll play a critical role in analyzing operational data, identifying performance improvement opportunities, and implementing technology systems that drive business objectives. You'll work closely with our teams to design, integrate, and optimize material handling sortation systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, and other automation technologies that enhance our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Analyze performance data within engineering to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop data-driven insights to inform business decisions. Utilize engineering tools and software to analyze data, answer complex engineering questions, and develop solutions that meet business objectives. Research, analyze, and consolidate technical or engineering-related information, and present findings to management and other stakeholders. Prepare accurate expenditure proposals, cost justification analyses, and other documents to support business cases and investment decisions. Apply project management fundamentals and concepts to develop progress reports, meeting minutes, and field communication memos, and ensure effective project execution. Participate in Control Self Monitoring (CSM) and Business Control Self-Assessment (BCSA) processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and present reports, progress updates, and results to team members, internal customers, and other stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned, and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical or quantitative field (e.g., mathematics). Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and other stakeholders. Strong presentation skills to facilitate training, deliver informational sessions, and present findings to groups and individuals. Effective time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to work in a fast-paced environment, handle various tasks, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations to drive business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications To take your application to the next level, you'll ideally have: Experience developing customer-specific operational plans to meet customer transit and cost expectations. Skills in data analytics, including advanced Power BI skills, to support operational improvement initiatives. Experience supporting Sales teams by quantifying the competitive advantages of the FedEx surface network. Knowledge of peak planning support for e-commerce shippers, and the ability to develop data-driven insights to inform business decisions. Compensation The compensation range for this role is: U. S. Pay Range: $3,891.60/month - $8,302.08/month. Colorado Pay Range: $4,107.80/month - $7,956.16/month. New York Pay Range: $4,107.80/month - $8,302.08/month. New York City Pay Range: $5,188.80/month - $8,302.08/month. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
