Job Overview and Responsibilities In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our data engineering team to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide insights to inform business decisions. You will be responsible for working with source data software groups and product owners to design and implement analytics solutions, implementing data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, and performing multiple components of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, and alerting. Work closely with source data software groups and product owners to design and implement analytics solutions that provide insights to inform business decisions Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and traditional data warehouse tools Perform multiple components of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, and alerting Provide technical support and collaborate in a team environment, as well as work independently Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies Develop coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need a strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, as well as experience with data analytics, cloud computing, and software development. You should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 1 year of software solution development using agile, DevOps, and a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs or data engineering solutions 1 year of data analytics experience using SQL 1 year of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI Combination of development, administration, and support experience in various tools and frameworks, including scripting languages such as Python, Spark, and Unix, data platforms such as Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, and Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Cloud Technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions Preferred Qualifications and Skills In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with experience in software solution development, data analytics, and cloud computing.
