About the Role As the trusted Assistant to Toptal's CEO, you'll play a vital role in driving key priorities forward, navigating ambiguity, and managing sensitive information with discretion. This is not a traditional executive assistant role; it's a high-level partnership that requires a unique blend of operational expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional judgment. You'll work closely with the CEO to ensure the efficient and effective execution of critical initiatives, often taking on operationally demanding work that requires a high level of intelligence, precision, and ownership. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, demonstrating extreme attention to detail in confidential communications and strategic priorities. Take ownership of operationally demanding work, ensuring that high-detail, often time-sensitive tasks are completed accurately and with minimal oversight. Track progress on ongoing initiatives, anticipate needs, manage follow-through, and contribute to internal and external communications as needed. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to keep critical efforts on track, handling confidential information with discretion. Navigate ambiguity and manage sensitive information with sound judgment, consistently demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills, qualifications, and personal attributes. These include: A Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution. Residency in NYC, with the ability to work independently and responsively in a remote setting.
