Job Highlights Compensation: A competitive salary range of USD $87,000.00 - USD $87,000.00 per year, with the potential for additional compensation elements to be discussed during the hiring process. Position: Systems Engineer 3/ UI Path, a critical role in our engineering team. Location: Remote, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Responsibilities As a Systems Engineer 3/ UI Path, you will play a vital role in supporting our customer contract. Your key responsibilities will include: Gathering information concerning the capabilities of company products and investigating the technical capabilities of competing equipment and/or solutions. Generating quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and design, ensuring compliance through formal verification methods. Translating high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, working with other engineering disciplines to develop detailed implementation requirements. Establishing and coordinating the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development. Designing interfaces and integrating network and system elements to ensure seamless functionality. Assessing performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, with a focus on continuous improvement. Serving as a customer liaison and providing support for business development activities, working to understand and shape requirements. Coordinating the planning, design, and installation of equipment, utilizing knowledge of engineering and programming, as well as sophisticated instruments and computers. Participating in system conceptual design and documentation of design concepts. Installing new hardware, systems, and software for networks, and designing, creating, and building network services, equipment, and devices. Generating system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures, and monitoring system performance to implement performance tuning. Reviewing test plans and procedures to ensure they meet contractual requirements, and participating in the testing process to validate requirements. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience (or commensurate experience) in a related field. An active HUD Public Trust clearance, which is a requirement for this position. Strong technical skills, including experience with UI Path and systems engineering principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. A strong understanding of engineering and programming principles, as well as experience with sophisticated instruments and computers. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Skills and Experience In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will possess: Experience with systems engineering, including design, development, and implementation of complex systems. Knowledge of UI Path and automation principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions. Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology. Additional certifications or training in systems engineering, UI Path, or related areas. Experience working in a government or public sector environment, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. Strong leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve exceptional results.
