As a Business Analyst - Essette System Technical Lead, you'll play a critical role in managing deployments, project implementations, support/training, and maintenance of the Essette system from a technical perspective. About the Role We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as the technical lead for all modules in Essette, our system for managing healthcare data and operations. As a key member of our team, you'll utilize your leadership and technical skills to provide direction for Essette projects, facilitate the development of Essette for company-based initiatives, and manage the Essette system coordinator team and compliance coordinator position. You'll also cultivate an environment for team engagement and success in individual roles, helping employees meet their goals by providing clarity on tasks and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage deployments, project implementations, support/training, and maintenance of the Essette system from a technical perspective Serve as the technical lead for all modules in Essette, providing direction for Essette projects and facilitating the development of Essette for company-based initiatives Manage the Essette system coordinator team and compliance coordinator position, cultivating an environment for team engagement and success in individual roles Liaise with development teams and Gainwell (clinical system vendor) to oversee issue resolution and project development Manage testing for all upgrades and deployments, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve their full potential Analyze and improve business processes, acting as a point for system development and process design Handle escalated calls and resolve complex production issues for Essette, ensuring prompt and effective resolution Ensure issues or changes are communicated and integrated appropriately, maintaining transparency and collaboration across teams Serve as a direct point of contact for developing Essette-centered processes with internal teams and external partners Schedule, track, and provide oversight for system development projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables Maintain working knowledge of all modules to facilitate efficient processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization Create effective, data-driven solutions for operational problems and program requirements, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills Organize and validate data to manage the development of reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance Maintain system efficiency and troubleshoot problems reported by users, providing timely and effective support Assess, monitor, and improve work processes, ensuring changes are communicated and integrated Maintain user roles to ensure security and availability to specific users, adhering to UnitedHealth Group's security policies and procedures Coordinate system support between departments and internal IT and/or Essette vendor, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption Lead coordination and collaboration with internal IT department to make enhancements, driving innovation and improvement Analyze and isolate issues, overseeing maintenance of issue log and ensuring prompt resolution Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications 2 years of healthcare industry, system support, or care coordination experience 1 year of management experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team management Analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication skills with technical staff and end users Microsoft systems knowledge, with experience in systems analysis, evaluation, and quality control analysis Willingness to work standard business hours in the Mountain Standard Time zone Preferred Qualifications Experience in systems analysis, evaluation, and quality control analysis Complex problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with experience in resolving escalated issues All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy What We Offer At UnitedHealthcare, we're committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Our hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
