About the Role We're seeking a seasoned Commercial Insurance Scrum Master to lead our Scaled Agile application development teams in driving the agile transformation at Mobilitas. As a Scrum Master, you'll be the catalyst for our teams' success, empowering them to achieve higher levels of maturity and deliver exceptional business value. Key Responsibilities Lead 1-2 Scaled Agile application development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Motivate and coach teams in agile practices and ceremonies, ensuring they achieve higher levels of maturity and deliver exceptional results. Lead Agile cadence activities within the Scrum framework, ensuring active participation from team members and key stakeholders. Partner with Product Owners to maintain a groomed, prioritized, and refined backlog, holding the team accountable for Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD). Create and enforce Team/Organization working agreements to standardize processes across all teams, promoting consistency and efficiency. Participate in Agile Release Train (ART) meetings, providing status updates, discussing impediments, and raising risks to business deliverables. Facilitate Program Increment planning discussions, publishing Team objectives and ensuring alignment with business goals. Produce, maintain, and track relevant artifacts to measure and continuously improve Sprint and ART metrics, driving data-driven decision-making. Support teams in maturing Agile practices using new tools and technologies, and guide less experienced Scrum Masters in their development. Communicate and coordinate with Systems and Operations teams to ensure Release Readiness, facilitating seamless execution. Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments, ensuring minimal disruption to the development process. Shield the team from outside distractions and interference, protecting their focus and productivity. Develop and manage team release plans and sprint plans, driving the delivery of business value. Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy sprint backlog and product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Facilitate scaling ceremonies, such as Scrum of Scrums and Portfolio Alignment, to promote collaboration and alignment across teams. What We're Looking For To excel in this role, you'll need: 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of leading software development teams. A servant leadership mindset, with a passion for empowering teams to achieve their full potential. Experience conducting Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. The ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity within the team and with stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, to effectively convey ideas and facilitate collaboration. Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, with experience using these tools to manage Agile projects. A Scrum Master certification, such as CSM or SAFe, demonstrating your expertise in Agile methodologies. Experience working in a software development environment, with a understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with it. Compensation and Benefits The national average salary range for this position is $115,220 - $127,900. However, our salary ranges vary based on location, and we're happy to discuss the available salary range with you during the preliminary call. In addition to competitive compensation, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: A company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.
