We provide comprehensive onboarding, training, and support every day from the minute you join our team, whether as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! Offer training and technical support for parents in the areas of developmental disability services and behavioral support. You will act as a resource to families by supporting the development of each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical skills through guidance, observation, modeling and training. In this role, you will: Receive specialized training to deliver transformative care to children with diverse developmental conditions Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or home-based setting (paid training provided) Teach children with autism, communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards Communicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues Attend meetings and trainings to acquire further knowledge Receive daily guidance and mentorship from a team of experts including Pediatric Psychiatrists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Requirements High school diploma (required) Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit, and run as needed. Valid driver’s license, reliable source of transportation, and auto insurance Must pass a criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI) Current TB clearance Be located near San Luis Obispo, CA.
