Job Overview In this remote-based position, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining eligibility information for individual and employer groups. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate eligibility records for individuals and assigned employer groups, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Process all enrollments, plan changes, and disenrollment transactions in a timely and efficient manner, providing exceptional customer service to our members. Review aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and membership reconciliation issues, producing and distributing delinquent notices to members as needed. Provide daily support to incoming verbal or written correspondence from enrollees regarding eligibility and processing status, responding to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Communicate policies, procedures, and benefits to employees, enrolled members, or employers, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on our services and offerings. Collaborate with staff in other departments to clarify and resolve eligibility problems presented by members, providing cross-training and back-up assistance to other enrollment groups as needed. Provide support within service operations as required, such as Membership Accounting, to ensure seamless delivery of our services. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to lifelong learning. At least two years of general office work experience, with a focus on attention to detail and data accuracy. One year of previous experience in an HMO insurance or medical setting, preferred, although not required. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, members, and external stakeholders.
