Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you'll need: A Paraprofessional Certification or a willingness to apply for certification. This certification demonstrates your commitment to supporting students with diverse needs. Experience working with students with disabilities and behavioral needs. This experience is crucial for understanding the complexities of supporting students with varied requirements. The ability to indicate your preferred age group (elementary or middle school), allowing us to match you with the most suitable role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and students. Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs.
