Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Due Diligence Associate to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Due Diligence Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the due diligence coordination, inspection, and report creation process. Key Responsibilities Proofread, revise, edit, and produce high-quality due diligence reports within strict deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Assist in coordinating schedules and onsite inspections of file auditors, unit walkers, and vendor inspections, demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills. Maintain request lists, ensuring revisions are made per provided items, and manage multiple Dropbox accounts, showcasing ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Keep various internal databases up to date with the latest information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects in progress simultaneously, demonstrating ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Employ problem-solving skills when faced with complex situations, ensuring follow-up until tasks are fully completed and deadlines are met. Interact with colleagues, other management companies, and clients in a professional and appropriate manner, building strong relationships and maintaining a positive reputation for the company. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, occasionally outside of standard work hours, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Essential Qualifications Previous experience in multifamily is required, with a strong understanding of the industry and its practices. Assistant Manager or Community Manager experience is preferred, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-moving environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are a must, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Employment with the company is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, ensuring the highest level of integrity and trust. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of due diligence processes and procedures, with experience in report creation and data analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to work in a remote environment, with strong self-motivation and discipline to meet deadlines and deliver results. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software and systems.
