Experienced Full Time Remote CDL Driver Merchandiser – Beverage Distribution and Sales Promotion Expert

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced CDL Driver Merchandiser to join our team in the Gulf States division. As a CDL Driver Merchandiser, you will be responsible for delivering, stocking, and merchandising shelves, racks, and displays in assigned accounts. This is a touch freight position that requires a high level of physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, vehicle operation, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will be assigned to a 2-person route and will be responsible for maintaining accurate truck inventory and monetary accountability. Key Responsibilities Unload and transport products from the route truck to retail outlets Merchandise and rotate all product inside the outlet to company standards Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays Communicate any store-level issues to management Comply with DOT rules for driving purposes Responsible for safeguarding company assets Maintain rapport with customers Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise Ability to work with a hand-held device Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management What You Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Minimum age 21 years old Class A CDL required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets Ability to utilize all Company-provided resources and technology High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack Must be able to drive a tandem-axle manual shift tractor Ability to train all drivers on route responsibilities Ability to coach on industry standards and terminologies Ability to identify additional sales opportunities Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the requirements listed above, the following skills and competencies are essential for success in this role: Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits Work Environment and Company Culture Our company culture is built on a foundation of respect, integrity, and teamwork.
