We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contact Center Representative to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As an LTD Contact Center Rep 1, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues for our members. About the Role In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, providing personalized and accurate information about our LTD insurance products. Your excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability will enable you to effectively multitask, handle complex issues, and ensure a positive member experience. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging technology and telecommunications systems to manage a high volume of calls, conduct research, and resolve member issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities Deliver Personalized Service (70% of time): Respond to product inquiries, provide accurate information, and address member concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Conduct Research and Resolve Issues (20% of time): Investigate member issues, follow up on outstanding matters, and resolve problems efficiently, utilizing problem-solving skills and de-escalation techniques as needed. Provide Administrative Support and Team Collaboration (10% of time): Participate in team huddles, contribute to process improvements, and perform administrative tasks to support the contact center's operations. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly relay product information and address member concerns. Familiarity with using computer and telecommunications technologies. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: Experience with performance metrics and quality assurance processes. Knowledge of Lean methodology for problem-solving. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $19.00 - $24.40 per hour. In addition to salary, our package includes: Incentive plan participation. Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. Initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
