Key Responsibilities As a Director of Business Strategy at Indeed, you will be responsible for driving business results and shaping the company's strategic direction. Some of the key responsibilities include: Developing and executing annual business plans, including revenue projections, OKRs, and investment asks, in collaboration with key leaders and stakeholders. Conducting ongoing business reviews with C-level stakeholders and providing strategic insights to inform decision-making. Optimizing resource allocation to drive P&L goals and OKRs, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings. Developing and implementing product strategies, including identifying opportunities for M&A and partnerships. Collaborating across business units to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and driving alignment and synergy across the organization. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in business strategy, P&L management, and governance. Some of the essential qualifications and skills include: 5+ years of experience in an engineering organization or a related field. 5+ years of experience in P&L management, with a proven track record of delivering results. Strong governance and change management experience, with the ability to drive organizational change and transformation. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making. Preferred Qualifications and Skills In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, Indeed is looking for candidates with: Experience in product strategy and M&A, with a proven track record of driving successful product launches and integrations. Strong business transformation experience, with the ability to drive cultural and organizational change. Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
