The selected candidate will lead a team in developing, implementing, and optimizing network analytics, automation, and tooling solutions. This role will be key in improving network reliability, efficiency, and security through strategic automation and proactive issue resolution. It is essential for the manager to foster a culture of Innovation, Operational Excellence and a commitment to achieving 5 nines reliability through excellence in Tools, Automation and Compliance. You will collaborate closely with peers, Senior Managers in overseeing support for Operation, Design, Architecture, Security, Program Management, and other critical functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of network technologies and protocols, and a proven history of successful automation initiatives. Position Responsibilities:Lead a global team consisting of senior network designers, developers, and analysts to develop, evaluate and procure toolsDeploy automation and AI to enable proactive detections, analysis, or immediate response to reactive issues or outagesLead and mentor a team of Developers, designers, and Network Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environmentCollaborate with other teams and partners to enhance our comprehensive network automation and operationsManage budget and resources effectivelyWork with peers in Operations, Security, Design, Architecture and Network services to understand their needs and requirements for automation, and toolsWork closely with peers, and Senior Management to develop and implement the vision and strategy for the Network & Automation Tools & ComplianceEnsure that we stay compliant with respect to all the software and hardware on 10,000+ devices and systems across the globeGenerate and report-out on network Tools & Automation activities, including tools and automation efficiencies, monitoring, compliance metrics and other KPI's or metrics as requiredParticipate in network audits and assessments remediating any findings through documented, process driven responsesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in managing and/or leading Network, Tools and Automation3+ years of experience in managing and/or leading network compliance3+ years of experience with asset management3+ years of experience managing and/or leading software upgrades across a networkPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higherExperience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovationDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
