Role Overview As an Enrollment Eligibility Representative, you will play a critical role in preparing, processing, and consulting with customers regarding the completion of Payer-defined Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Enrollment forms. You will field and respond to customer inquiries across various service channels, including phone, chat, email, and online support portal. Your goal will be to research and resolve reported issues within organizational metric targets, while building and maintaining positive customer and payer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Preparing, processing, and maintaining enrollment forms in accordance with Payer rules and internal processing metrics/SLAs. Analyzing problems with failed/rejected enrollment forms and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Corresponding with customers and Payers to verify enrollment form status and provide updates. Assisting customers with Enrollment tools/access/self-service capabilities and providing training as needed. Initiating changes to increase or change workflows to drive quality and productivity. Managing assigned Implementation projects and associated customer Go-Live deadlines in accordance with team procedures and policies. Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: 1 year of remote call center experience and 1 year of healthcare customer service experience. Skills: Experience interacting with clients or customers in a professional setting. Proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort/filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management). Availability: Ability to work Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM CST. Age: Must be 18 years of age or older. Telecommuting Requirements: As a remote employee, you will be required to: Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. Keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable). Compensation and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Competitive salary. Incentive and recognition programs. For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island residents, the hourly range is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.
