About the Role: Learning Creator II As a Learning Creator II, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective pilot training programs that meet corporate safety and operational objectives. You'll work closely with partner groups within Pilot Learning and Improvement to ensure that our training programs are compliant, efficient, and aligned with industry regulations. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and aviation to make a tangible impact on our organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain pilot training programs using the ADDIE cycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards Analyze data to determine training program effectiveness and efficiency, and summarize findings in formal reports Create comprehensive design documents, development plans, implementation plans, and evaluation plans for large projects Maintain formal documentation of government and corporate programs, electronic Program Review Information Base (PADB), and training recording/certification systems Develop instructor guides, curricula, and Learning Objectives Archives Serve as a subject matter expert on adult learning theory, instructional methodologies, compliance requirements, and change management processes Contribute to the development of new training concepts, methodologies, and standards using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies Support investigations to resolve complex issues requiring organizational, procedural, or policy decisions Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency A degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design, Aviation, or equivalent work experience Experience using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies At least three years of training-related work experience Project management experience Experience working with technical training subjects Experience with compliance training Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt to multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently to meet project deadlines Basic or intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook and Word Preferred Qualifications To give you a competitive edge, we'd love to see: Business/Aircraft Transport Pilot, Flight Instructor, Certified Ground/Flight Instructor certifications or military equivalents Experience designing, developing, or instructing flight-related subjects Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and related guidance material Familiarity with the FAA Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) Experience with training system and compliance auditing Experience with content management systems (CMS) What We Offer At Delta Airlines, we believe in rewarding talent.
