Job Overview As a Senior Security Engineer - Identity and Access Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading the engineering team through the design, development, and delivery of critical services. You will be responsible for contributing to the success of Starbucks by ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, aligning with our strategy architecture and industry best practices. This position requires a technical expert in access control and identification, with a strong background in IAM technologies and a proven track record of delivering complex projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the engineering team through project implementation and deliverables, actively seeking opportunities to improve security features and functionality. Design, develop, and deliver critical services, ensuring the stability, security, and industry compliance of our systems. Guide and care for user engineers, providing technical expertise and support to ensure the successful implementation of IAM solutions. Create and manage schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects and meeting business objectives. Synchronize technical providers to achieve business purposes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Provide advice on administrative units, system control, processing, and problem-solving, leveraging your expertise to drive informed decision-making. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams. Examine and analyze complex system problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Establish and maintain reliable relationships with partners and technology vendors, ensuring the successful delivery of IAM projects. Essential Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. More than eight years of experience in designing and developing IAM solutions for large companies. More than four years of experience in access management, with a focus on records services. Experience with cloud-based services, including implementation and management. Strong knowledge of IAM technologies, including CyberArk, PKI, and CIAM. Experience with software development principles and design principles. Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or others focused on cybersecurity, data privacy, or IAM. Knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, etc. Experience with CyberArk PAM solutions and DevOps tools, including JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and Coverity. Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Familiarity with architectural design tools and project-oriented architecture. Skills and Competencies True knowledge of software developments and at least one programming language (C#, Python, PowerShell). More than four years of experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects. More than four years of experience with cloud-based services and DevOps methodologies. Understanding of users and values, such as LDAP, SAML, WS-*, and the ability to implement them in enterprise business solutions. High problem-solving ability, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to iteratively automate tasks using DevOps methods and tools.
