Part Time Certified Flight Instructor, Fixed WingCFIs at BETA are an integral part of our company culture; they share the love of aviation with our whole team! Our flight instructors fly with their teammates in a variety of rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft, including floatplanes, taildraggers, and twins, to inspire them and familiarize them with the industry we are electrifying. We seek thoughtful, enthusiastic, passionate, and aviation-obsessed instructors to share their passion through teaching others how to fly. We fly year-round, and help our teammates work towards their aviation goals, whether that is to get a private pilot license, or simply to enjoy the view from the cockpit with an experienced pilot. CFIs work at our Burlington, VT headquarters. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Provide exceptional flight instruction under Part 61Provide discovery flights and non-instructional flight experiences to team membersProvide ground school instructionParticipate in educating new team members about our flight training program during onboarding events throughout the yearParticipate in weekly aircraft cleaning sessionsManage scheduling issues directly with students via Slack and Flight Schedule ProContribute to office tasks, including updating documents as needed Minimum Qualifications: Commercial ASELCertified Flight Instructor500 hrs TT150 hrs Dual GivenHigh Performance and Complex2nd class medicalCFIIValid U.
