Role and Responsibilities: In this role, you will handle and prepare mail for processing, ensuring that each piece reaches its destination quickly and accurately. You will work in a fast-paced environment and follow established procedures to keep operations running smoothly. • Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail using automated equipment or manual methods. • Load and unload mail containers, trays, and sacks. • Scan and label mail items for tracking purposes. • Inspect mail for proper postage, address accuracy, and condition. • Follow USPS safety and security protocols at all times. Required Skills and Experience: • No prior experience or degree required — full training provided. • Ability to lift and move mail containers up to 70 pounds. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Basic reading, writing, and math skills. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or mailroom operations. • Familiarity with automated mail processing equipment.
