Job Summary Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, the Director of Strategic Growth and Development for Medicare Advantage will be an integral member of our Strategy team. This senior role will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate, business unit, and local strategies that drive growth, innovation, and transformation across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic thinking, leadership acumen, and industry expertise, with a proven track record of delivering results in the managed healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise strategies that drive growth and expansion in current business units, with a focus on Medicare Advantage. Lead high-priority projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely and effective execution across the organization. Generate actionable local market insights and drive innovation through research, analysis, and collaboration with business unit leaders and subject matter experts. Provide strategic support and guidance to the executive leadership team, informing key decisions and driving business outcomes. Own end-to-end analysis and projects, leveraging strong quantitative aptitude, problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen to deliver results. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in strategic management and business principles. At least 3+ years of experience in strategic management consulting or investment banking, with prior managed healthcare experience, preferably in Medicare Advantage. A deep understanding of the drivers of value in managed healthcare, as well as broad knowledge of the healthcare industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. Strong quantitative aptitude, problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive business decisions. Proven strategy experience, with the ability to frame strategic challenges, research, and synthesize insights, and develop actionable solutions and plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and external resources. Intellectual agility and the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts, driving clarity and alignment across the organization. Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of organization and time management. Energetic and collaborative, with a positive and adaptable attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus: Leadership experience within a Managed Care organization, preferably in Medicare Advantage, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges. Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to effectively leverage these tools to drive analysis, insights, and communication. A proven track record of driving strategic growth and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. While the pay range for this role is $96,325.57 - $201,705.4 per annum, actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
