About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a base of accounts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving positive business outcomes using ACI Learning's enterprise solutions. Your expertise in identifying strategic business drivers and articulating learning solutions will enable you to thrive in a team-based selling environment and advocate for lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities Facilitate a world-class onboarding and implementation process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition and setting the stage for long-term success. Drive adoption and regular usage throughout the customer lifecycle, providing exceptional support and guidance to ensure our clients achieve their goals. Develop customer relationships that allow you to become a trusted advisor, selling our products and services throughout the organization and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Maintain high levels of satisfaction and value realization across your customer base, leading to high levels of customer retention and loyalty. Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure successful onboarding of new customers and develop growth sales opportunities, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to drive revenue growth. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to sales leadership, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning. Be an ambassador for ACI Learning's culture and values, embodying our commitment to innovation, customer success, and lifelong learning. Seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. Maintain accurate and complete records of customer-oriented activity in the CRM, ensuring data-driven decision-making and effective customer management. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or commensurate relevant experience in a related field, such as business, sales, or marketing. 2+ years of B2B Account Management or Customer Success experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. Experience in delivering learning and/or software solutions to mid-market clients, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of this sector. Experience selling into Enterprise Businesses, with a ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships with key decision-makers. Comfortable speaking to technology, with a basic understanding of IT and software solutions. Preferred Qualifications A passion for and track record of continuous professional development, with a commitment to ongoing learning and self-improvement. Experience managing customers and consistently meeting and exceeding retention, revenue, and booking goals, with a strong focus on customer success and satisfaction. Knowledge in the application of sales, account management, and customer success methodologies, processes, and techniques, with a ability to leverage best practices to drive results. Good customer relationship management skills, with a track record of developing and sustaining strong client relationships that generate win-win outcomes. Gifted communicator, with excellent spoken and written presentation skills, negotiating skills, and consensus-building abilities. Knowledge of subscription/SaaS business models, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of this sector.
