What you'll doAs we expand our business and operation crossing the world, we need to make sure that our procurement functionality, policy and process is built with the highest standard compared with industry best practice. Therefore, you will help Airwallex to establish the Procurement function which best fits our business model and future scalability. In this role you will be responsible for defining and ensuring the execution of the procurement strategy, policies, and processes. You will act as the main point of contact for all matters relating to spend. You will support the business (ie: Product and Engineering) in large procurement projects, develop procurement strategies and set up centralized procure to pay processes supported by a service team. ResponsibilitiesDevelop policies and detailed processes for our centralized procure to pay processCreate and manage direct relationships with finance and other functional departments, such as engineering and product team to ensure smooth procurement operationsManage shared service resources to handle vendor management, PR creation, supplier engagement and ensure compliance to our procurement policyContinuously explore efficiencies in technology solutions for procurement, including the adoption of new procurement tooling. Collaborate with the FP&A team on continuous spend insights driven by the procurement process. Establish KPI reporting for the procurement ops team to measure success, efficiency and identify opportunities for further improvementWho you are8+ years of procurement and/or partnerships experience (RFP processes, cost negotiations, vendor analysis, etc.)Experience with building efficient centralised procure to pay processesExperience working with IT, Product or Engineering procurementAbility to ramp a new function and establish an operating modelAbility to drive and implement change in a global organisationCuriosity for learning about technical productsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsDirect experience implementing new systemsExperience in evaluating metrics and making data-driven decisionsA can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneouslyA proven track record for working well across teams and with external partnersAbility to bring a process-oriented mindset to execute on deliverablesPrior experience in the payment cards industry or financial services is a plusPrior experience working in fast-growing Procurement organisationsEqual opportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
