Key Responsibilities of the Preparing Manager As a Preparing Manager for DHL Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and directing training and safety programs for employees. Your responsibilities will include: Creating, managing, and ensuring the documentation of all training processes to meet company, regulatory, ISO, and corporate standards. Providing technical writing resources to develop and maintain accurate Work Instructions for all processes. Ensuring that employees are trained on their specific job functions and that all training is properly documented. Integrating all regulatory and customer safety requirements into company policies and ensuring that employees are adequately trained. Developing and leading new employee onboarding programs and boost initiatives to meet all company, client, and regulatory requirements. Coordinating and directing the writing tasks of Technical Writers assigned to document processes. Fostering the development of site-level Coaches and Technical Writers through 'Train-the-Trainer' and 'Train-the-Writer' classes, along with continuous coaching and mentoring. Managing the Site Safety Program, including the development of safety procedures, compliance auditing, and reporting safety concerns to management. Providing advisory support to the Site Safety Council to identify safety issues and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Identifying staffing needs for Training/Writing, interviewing candidates, and developing staff members to ensure a productive team. Coordinating and leading corporate-sponsored training programs for site employees. Documenting system processes in manuals and managing policy development and record control procedures to support ISO and Management of Progress Systems. Collaborating closely with Client Representatives, Operations, Inventory Control, and Customer Service to ensure that processes are accurate, documented, and updated according to local Management of Progress Systems. Developing flexible training schedules to meet special requests and business needs. Participating in Kaizen Studios as needed to improve productivity and resolve process issues. Performing various other duties as assigned. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. A background in supply chain operations or the manufacturing industry is preferred. Experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role is required. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
