Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a Technical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for partnering with Program and Engineering managers to develop video experiences for the Disney Streaming platform. You'll serve as the interface between Product and other Engineering teams, participating in coordination, alignment, road mapping, and the overall seamless delivery of best-in-class consumer applications. Key Responsibilities As a Technical Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Developing a Roadmap: You'll be responsible for developing a roadmap for the team and keeping it in line with the priorities defined by product. Executing Projects: You'll execute on several projects concurrently, working with a remote and distributed Engineering team to balance competing priorities. Facilitating Project Processes: You'll facilitate and solidify project processes by creating, managing, and updating documentation. Communicating with Stakeholders: You'll keep stakeholders informed of day-to-day project statuses, updates, and risks. Cultivating Relationships: You'll cultivate relationships across engineering and technical teams, serving as the end-to-end liaison. Identifying Solution Paths: You'll identify solution paths for competing requirements, managing stakeholder preferences and demonstrating product knowledge. Facilitating Discussions: You'll work with backend and service teams to establish the needs of your team, continually communicate risks to all stakeholders, and facilitate discussions to help remove blockers. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications 3+ Years of Experience: You'll need at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing large-scale projects. Technical Literacy: You'll need to have technical literacy, with the ability to follow technical discussions and absorb technical documentation. Understanding of Technical Architecture: You'll need a proficient understanding of technical architecture and workflow for system/domain of the team(s), with the ability to identify potential impacts to components of those systems based on requirements. Experience with Consumer Application Development: You'll need experience running a consumer application development project through the entire SDLC. Knowledge of Project Management Processes: You'll need knowledge of project management processes, including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall. Strong Communication Skills: You'll need strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. BA/BS or Equivalent Experience: You'll need a BA/BS or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Disney Streaming Platform: Experience working with the Disney Streaming platform is a plus. Knowledge of Cloud-Based Technologies: Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, is desirable. Certifications: Certifications in project management, such as PMP or Agile, are a plus. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: Salary: The hiring range for this position is $104,600.00 to $140,200.00 per year in Santa Monica, CA, and $107,400.00 to $143,900.00 per year in Seattle, WA. Bonus and Long-Term Incentive Units: You may be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units as part of your compensation package.
