Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls from members and providers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, and additional benefits and programs. Provide accurate and timely information, ensuring that customers receive the support they need in a professional and courteous manner. Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate conflicts and resolve customer complaints. Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting performance standards and call quality objectives. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues. Reliable high-speed internet connectivity via Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted). Ability to travel to the Richmond, VA office as needed in the event of prolonged technical issues. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a call center environment, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs, including eligibility and benefits. Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulatory requirements.
