Retail Solution ArchitectUK-based Remote WorkingExcellent Salary & PackageThe Role I'm currently looking for an experienced Retail Architect to join a leading SaaS product firm. You will act as the advisor to the CIO and provide architectural guidance, technology governance and oversee the systems landscape, creating to-be architectures in line with the client business objectives. Key Responsibilities Assess overall alignment between business and technology roadmapsEvaluate solutions alignment with the end user experienceCreate, own and maintain the Architectural Artifacts (building blocks, models, governance, architecture and unified roadmaps, etc.). Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of the enterprise business capability model. Guide cross-functional teams (Application, Integration, Infrastructure and data ) to facilitate the creation of optimal architectures which align to the business planProvide technical leadership and advise business units and technology groupsApply analytical thought processes to quickly understand technical challenges discovered during the life-cycle of the initiativeLearn new technology concepts swiftly and comprehensivelyEvaluate how security impacts the design & development process of various solutionsLead the documentation and analysis of the current state of all of the IT environmentsCollaborate on defining future state architectures and develop gap plansCollaborate extensively with IT Leaders and technical delivery teams to ensure alignment of best practices and standardsWork with architects from client partners to align and govern end to end solutionsYour Knowledge and Experience At least 5 years’ experience in working as an enterprise or solution architect designing and implementing large-scale systemsAt least 5 years’ experience in creating clear, concise documentation for a multi-tier architectural model and to discuss technical matters effectively with business end usersStrong retail system and process knowledge (Kiosk, Stock management, Finance, 3PL and digital)Strong communication skills with both technical and business professionalsTeamwork & collaboration skills to work across organisations and lead cross-functional teamsAbility to learn and work with new application providers driving change and disruption across retailThorough knowledge of business function and in-depth knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategiesUnderstanding of cloud offerings in the market and ability to explain relevance of cloud architecturesStrong knowledge of the security operations, standards & issues involved in multi-tier, multi-tenant web applicationsTrack record of being proactive, identifying gaps, making constructive suggestions and follow through to resolutionProven ability to creatively problem-solve for various types of issue in multiple disciplinesYour Personality Energetic & drivenFlexibleInnovativeResilientInsightfulCreativeProblem solverSound judgementAnalyticalCapacity to learnIf you'd like to find out more about this exciting opportunity, please get in touch without delay!
