About the Position: Supervisor, Special Investigations The Supervisor, Special Investigations will play a critical role in leading and supervising internal security investigators and independent investigators to ensure the effective resolution of questionable claims. This remote position involves conducting thorough investigations into suspected fraud or illegal activities against the company, evaluating the credibility of information, and training staff on technical and procedural matters. Key Responsibilities: Direct and Supervise: Lead and supervise Internal Security Investigators and independent investigators to ensure effective resolution of questionable claims. Conduct Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraud or illegal activities against the company, gathering and analyzing evidence to inform decision-making. Evaluate Information: Assess the credibility of information and make informed decisions about the validity of claims. Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on technical and procedural matters, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. Manage Call Volume: Handle heavy call volume and resolve complex business problems in a fast-paced work environment. Facilitate Conflict Resolution: Follow complex instructions and facilitate conflict resolution, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Essential Qualifications: Professional Communication: Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone, communicating complex information clearly and effectively. Licensing Requirements: Must be able to attain and maintain required licenses issued by insurance departments of various states. Organizational Skills: Must have strong organization and priority-setting skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Supervisor Foundations/HR Courses: Completion of Supervisor Foundations/HR courses (level 1) is required, demonstrating a commitment to leadership development and excellence.
