About the Role We're seeking an experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team and drive digital transformation and growth in the public sector. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for building and deepening executive relationships with public sector customers, identifying transformational opportunities, and developing business growth strategies. Responsibilities Build and Deepen Executive Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives in public sector organizations, influencing long-term strategic direction and serving as a trusted business partner. Identify Transformational Opportunities: Analyze customer needs and identify the largest transformational opportunities to drive maximum measurable value to our customers. Develop Business Growth Strategies: Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to optimize business results and open up opportunities with large public sector customers. Understand Customer Needs: Develop a deep understanding of each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and business landscape. Present to C-Level Executives: Develop and deliver presentations to C-level executives within public sector customers, discussing and managing the entire sales cycle. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: 7+ Years of Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the technology industry, selling SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms. Experience Selling to State, Local, and Education Customers: Strong understanding of the public sector market and experience selling to State, Local, and Education customers. Executive-Level Relationships: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives in public sector organizations. Business Growth Strategies: Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: Experience Working with Partners: Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors. Infrastructure Software Experience: Experience selling infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions. Complex Commercial and Legal Agreements: Demonstrated success with large complex commercial and legal agreements, working with procurement, legal, and business teams. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $89,000-$133,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
