About the Role We're seeking an experienced and skilled Desktop Technical Analyst to join our team in a hybrid workplace setting. As a key member of our Desktop team, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch technical support to our users, resolving complex issues, and driving business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide critical, targeted Tier I and II desktop support to a diverse group of users, resolving problems in a variety of production environments, including Microsoft, Adobe, Java, and others. Support hardware and software issues remotely and on-site, using a range of tools and technologies to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Manage and maintain asset information systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of our technical assets. Image, prepare, and deploy new and/or rebuilt computers, ensuring that our users have access to the latest technology and tools. Proactively manage all open change orders, assigned incidents, and problems, using project management skills to drive resolution and minimize downtime. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a strong combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. Here are the essential qualifications we're looking for: Three (3) years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned at the Tier II level, including previous experience in a professional service desk or desktop support environment. Strong technical skills, including experience with Microsoft operating systems, software applications, and hardware platforms. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates who possess a strong combination of technical skills, experience, and certifications. Here are the preferred qualifications we're looking for: Experience utilizing, deploying, and supporting the Microsoft OS and familiarity with software applications including Office, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, or MECM. Experience working in ticketing systems for technical support, with a strong understanding of help desk software and processes. Operational experience in configuring, deploying, and managing desktops, laptops, and tablets in the infrastructure of a local area and wide area network.
