Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registration Representative to join our team on a part-time basis, working 16 hours per week, including every Friday and every other weekend. As a Registration Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and their families. You will be responsible for accurately collecting and entering patient demographic and financial information, obtaining signatures and scanning documents, and ensuring that all registration types are completed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service skills and knowledge, including service recovery, to ensure that patients and their families have a positive experience. Accurately collect and enter all patient demographic and financial information for all registration types, including obtaining signatures, scanning documents, and obtaining ABN's/IMM's when applicable. Routinely use reference materials necessary to ensure proper course of action and seek guidance when appropriate. Follow downtime procedures as established and proactively work on downtime tasks, including data entry, insurance management, and maintaining a neat and organized work environment. Cross-train in other areas, including on-unit in-person consent capture, to ensure that patients receive seamless and efficient care. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications High school graduate or GED required. Customer service experience required, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. Ability to receive on-the-job training under close supervision and adapt to new systems and processes. Preferred Qualifications Previous clerical and Meditech experience desirable, but not required. A good understanding of medical terminology helpful, but not essential. Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
