Role and Responsibilities: As a Postal Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting mail along assigned routes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. You will operate USPS vehicles safely and represent the organization with professionalism and courtesy. • Load, transport, and deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses. • Collect outgoing mail from customers along your route. • Sort and organize deliveries for efficiency. • Follow designated routes and schedules to maintain timely service. • Ensure the security and confidentiality of all mail items. • Operate USPS vehicles in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Required Skills and Experience: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages and mail items up to designated weight limits. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent customer service and communication abilities. • Willingness to work in various weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in delivery, courier, or transportation roles. • Familiarity with local roads and routes.
