Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, doctors' offices, and insurance companies. You'll be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, creating new accounts, verifying insurance, processing documents, and setting up orders. Your goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and contribute to the overall success of our team. Key Responsibilities: Customer Support: Handle incoming and outgoing calls with members, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers regarding documentation and account needs. Documentation and Data Entry: Review documentation for completion and insurance compliance, and accurately enter data into member accounts. Account Management: Thoroughly review patient accounts and records to ensure timely patient service. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate professionally with members, caregivers, guardians, medical professionals, and co-workers, and escalate matters to Team Supports and Management as needed. Knowledge Base and Process Improvement: Utilize the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information, and make suggestions for process improvements. Requirements and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with diverse stakeholders. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems, software applications, and electronic documentation tools. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion. Previous Experience: Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone, and effectively using computer systems and maintaining good records.
