About Costco and the Asset Management Team Costco Wholesale Corporation, commonly known as Costco, is an American multinational corporation that operates a chain of members-only warehouse clubs. It is one of the largest retailers in the world and offers a wide variety of products at discounted prices to its members. The Asset Management Team at Costco focuses on managing the business-to-business movement of IT assets and supplies throughout their lifecycle, from receipt to disposal, including hardware/software relationship management for Costco locations. As an Asset Analyst, you will be part of a passionate, agile, and collaborative business team that works together to develop and maintain a great wealth management program. You will have the opportunity to elevate IT processes and lead initiatives to positively impact Costco IT. Key Responsibilities: Perform data reviews and analysis of software assets, identifying data integrity issues and root causes of anomalies. Provide resolution of discrepancies between extracted inventory data and CARTS data. Support all efforts to expand total footprint software visibility into the software asset management tool. Learn, understand, and provide expertise in appropriate asset management policies and procedures to purchasing teams, contracts, vendor management, and business owners. Create and maintain process documentation and references. Initiate cross-collaboration with internal and vendor teams and support team members in problem-solving activities. Support the development of the ITAM Control Book and related policies. Identify opportunities to streamline, increase efficiency through continuous process improvement, and implementation of best practice solutions. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2+ years of wealth management experience with knowledge of industry best practices; or equivalent experience in inventory/materials management. Solid understanding of hardware and software asset life cycles and supply chain methods and processes; from purchase to disposal. Experience using Excel to analyze datasets, including experience with pivot tables and formulas, and the ability to compare different data sets. Analytical, detail-oriented, and demonstrates the ability to investigate and resolve problems effectively. Must have a positive attitude, the ability to work independently, and be motivated to take initiative with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and all organizational levels of Costco. Previous experience successfully managing multiple projects and tasks; excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities and deadlines. Willingness to accept guidance and training from management and colleagues; excellent and positive team interaction. Must be flexible and adaptable to changes. Able to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ServiceNow ('CARTS') preferred, particularly in hardware asset management modules. IT Asset Management certification (e.g., CHAMP, CSAM, CITAM, or equivalent). Good knowledge of Costco's business operations is preferred; or other knowledge of the structure of a large organization with teams in multiple locations. Experience with SCCM, Bigfix, or ServiceNow discovery data discovery tools. Experience with G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
