Job Summary We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented entry-level fleet repair technician to join our team. As an entry-level fleet repair technician, you'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on non-18 wheeler vehicles, working closely with our experienced technicians to learn the ropes, and contributing to the growth and success of our company. Key Responsibilities As an entry-level fleet repair technician, your key responsibilities will include: Performing preventative maintenance on non-18 wheeler vehicles, including routine inspections, tire rotations, and other tasks as assigned Working closely with experienced technicians to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role Assisting with repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, oil changes, brake repairs, and suspension work Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge Contributing to a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a fleet repair or maintenance environment, preferably at Goodyear, Discount Tire, Southern Tire Mart, or similar tire locations Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as automotive repair or technology ASE certification or equivalent Experience with fleet management software and systems Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Strong technical skills, including mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
