The Physical Damage team plays a critical role in the company's operations, focusing on auto damage claims handling, loss control, and strategic initiatives. As a Director of Virtual Operations, you will be responsible for leading the execution of these functions, leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making, and delivering business results. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute change management, claims strategies, and leader development across multiple teams. Drive execution of operational risk management, regulatory compliance training, policies, and procedures. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and oversee progress and improvement of physical damage initiatives. Provide guidance on technical matters, monitor claims reserve, and extend settlement authority. Consistently coach managers on leading their teams on claims handling, inspecting, and reviewing quality of claims and responding to escalations. Plan, organize, and control resources to deliver appropriate claims service. Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, procedures, and the fair claims settlement practices act. Essential Functions and Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of leadership, technical, and analytical skills. The essential functions of the job include: Providing guidance on technical matters and monitoring claims reserve. Coaching managers on claims handling and team leadership. Planning, organizing, and controlling resources to deliver claims service. Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience. 10+ years of customer service, change management, strategic planning, process implementation, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership experience. 4 years of P&C claims experience with demonstrated proficiency. 5 years of senior management experience. A track record of process improvement, building operational excellence, and leading organizations through change. Experience leading teams handling Auto Physical Damage Claims. Advanced business acumen in industry practices and emerging trends. Strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Compensation and Salary The annual salary range for this role is $133,000 - $207,000. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education, and training, as well as market and business considerations.
