As an Events Student Assistant, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing special events that advance the work of our development colleagues and support donor engagement and philanthropic giving. Job Summary As an Events Student Assistant, you will assist in the coordination and execution of special events, including but not limited to: President's Club Women and Philanthropy Board of Directors ASU President's football suite and tailgate Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating event set-up, catering, audio visuals, registration, name badge printing, volunteer recruitment, scheduling of event venues, parking, musician booking, and other event-related logistics Administering events and activities for donors within the ASU Foundation to advance cultivation and stewardship Updating clients and vendors on confirmed event logistics throughout the event planning process Interfacing with ASU Foundation and ASU Enterprise Partners staff, student workers, event vendors, and university partners to support ASU Foundation events Tracking event registrations through Eventbrite and Salesforce to ensure accurate pre- and post-event data Interacting regularly with high-level donors and prospects at onsite events Supporting Director of Events, Assistant Director of Events, Events Manager, and Events Coordinator with assigned project-related tasks Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment Strong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone The ability to work both independently and as part of a team The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Foundation and University business and confidential prospect information Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word The ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed, including Eventbrite and Social Tables The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and all ASU football home games The ability to represent the institution well Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates who: Are a current student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in a related field Have previous event experience and an interest in working in events Are willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement What We Offer As an Events Student Assistant at ASU Enterprise Partners, you will enjoy: A competitive salary A hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to work from home two days a week A $30 bi-weekly cell phone reimbursement Hands-on experience in a professional environment Professional development plans The opportunity to network with ASUEP leaders and other ASU students Access to LinkedIn Learning and their 8,000 courses Professional skills workshops Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At ASU Enterprise Partners, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
