About the Role: Tele Account Development Manager We're seeking an experienced Tele Account Development Manager to lead the development and management of high-potential and high-spending clients over the phone. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of high-value existing Business and Corporate customers, driving growth, and ensuring customer retention. Key Responsibilities Planning (10-20% of time): Effectively manage a dedicated portfolio of high-value existing Business and Corporate customers within your territory. Relationship Management (10-20% of time): Proactively reach out to customers to uncover opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive growth. Client Solution (20-30% of time): Use consultative skills to maintain and develop existing customer relationships, grow charge volume, and onboard new vendors. Negotiate and Close (20-30% of time): Partner with internal teams to drive sales, negotiate deals, and close opportunities. Compliance (100% of time): Ensure adherence to American Express's Code of Conduct, Sales Practices policies, and regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications Relationship Management: Strong customer relationship building skills to motivate clients to act. Consultative Selling: Ability to identify client needs and configure solutions that deliver value. Closing: Proven ability to overcome objections and resistance to proposed solutions. Influence & Persuasion: Effective interpersonal skills to gain acceptance for products and services. Demonstrating Value: Ability to proactively demonstrate the value of partnering with American Express. Results Focus: Competitive, positive attitude, and ability to adapt to different situations. Market, Industry, & Product Knowledge: Understanding of market trends, industry challenges, and American Express products. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a highly-regulated industry. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $155,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits.
