About Global Network Strategy & Transformation Global Network Strategy & Transformation (GNS&T) is a dynamic team that envisions and executes the transformation of American Express's payment network, driving business differentiation, growth, and rapid innovation. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital global payments network. Job Description: Manager - Digital Portfolio Management Reporting to the Director, Investment & Capacity Planning, you'll be responsible for defining and developing a capacity planning model for Network & Acquirer Solutions, driving effective change in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and operate a capacity model to facilitate rapid sizing and delivery scheduling, responding to an evolving Product Roadmap. Develop and maintain a detailed program scope and capability framework (level 2) and collaborate with teams across the program. Publish and report on capacity and scheduling options, identify optimization opportunities, and drive capacity-driven capability build roadmaps with AET and GNO teams. Produce presentation materials for executive updates. Engage and support global business teams, product leaders, engineering, and other applicable groups to ensure flawless execution. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven program management expertise, including the ability to develop and maintain an effective integration with other dependent workstreams. Strong understanding of the Product Management lifecycle. Experience developing capacity (resource/infrastructure) models to facilitate the software build within planned schedule and funding constraints. Experience and knowledge of Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices. Excellent communication skills. Ability to collaborate and partner with internal teams. Innovative leader with the ability to think creatively to solve problems. Customer-focused. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the payments industry or a related field. Knowledge of digital payment networks and emerging trends. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
