About the Role As a Data Analyst/Visualization expert, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining our Power BI dashboards, ensuring they are not only visually compelling but also provide actionable insights through well-structured data. Your expertise in SQL, Python, and potentially Streamlit and web development with JavaScript, will be crucial in analyzing complex data sets, particularly those related to IoT, sensor data from batteries and devices, and more. Your role will involve running and optimizing SQL queries, leveraging various SQL functions, and ensuring data is optimized for Power BI. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI, enhancing existing visualizations and creating new ones as needed. Structure data to run efficiently within Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and insights. Run complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. Optimize SQL queries for better performance, utilizing functions such as ranking and joining tables. Collaborate with the team to integrate data insights into our Connected Services platform, enhancing its predictive analytics capabilities. Communicate findings and insights effectively through written reports and verbal presentations. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions. Essential Qualifications Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize them for performance. Experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and visualization best practices. Proficiency in Python, with knowledge of libraries such as Pandas and NumPy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights simply. Experience working with data related to IoT, sensor data, or similar domains is a significant plus. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Streamlit for creating interactive dashboards. Knowledge of web development principles and JavaScript. Experience with cloud computing platforms and their integration with data analytics tools. Background in AI and machine learning, particularly in applying these technologies to predictive analytics.
