Job Overview: Director of Sales - Costco We're seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Sales - Costco to join our team. As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth, establishing Costco prominence, and fostering strong retailer relationships. This is a fully remote role based on the West Coast, with up to 25% travel requirements, including major industry shows, client meetings, team trainings, and leadership trainings. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with clients and internal team members to achieve business goals and manufacturer KPIs. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, establish individual performance goals, and collaborate with Leadership, Account Managers, and Sales Support. Facilitate transparent and collaborative partnerships with clients and internal cross-functional team members. Implement C. A. Fortune selling techniques and coordinate with clients to develop and implement specific brand training. Participate in regular market interactions with the team to understand the situation 'on the ground' and provide active guidance and ongoing training. Act as the conduit of communication for significant information flow with supervisors and client teams. Essential Qualifications 5+ years of CPG industry sales experience and/or working with or selling to Costco. Experience selling product direct to Costco and across multiple regions and categories throughout the club. Experience building and managing Costco programs. Strong analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to turn self-developed strategies into execution. Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with well-developed organizational, communication, and time management skills. Bachelor's Degree and/or similar industry experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a sales leadership position. Skills & Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal team members. You're a strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, able to navigate complex sales landscapes and identify opportunities for growth.
