We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate **Experienced Full-Time Remote CW Patient Transport – Patient Care and Logistics Specialist** to join our team on a full-time remote basis. About the Role As a **Experienced Full-Time Remote CW Patient Transport – Patient Care and Logistics Specialist**, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and expertise to make a positive impact on patient care. Key Responsibilities: Properly and safely transport patients, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and other medical equipment as needed. Use wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to transport patients, demonstrating competency in transporting all specific age groups. Ensure the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients to their destination, using the proper requested equipment. Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, and reception and dispatch teams. Provide attentive care to patients, offering blankets, checking modesty, and engaging in appropriate conversation. Never transport patients in severe pain, and alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction. Maintain equipment and report any equipment needing repairs. Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO guidelines. Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies, as outlined in the facilities HIPPA policies and procedures. Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications: No experience necessary, but previous experience in patient transport or a related field is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to lift and move patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a healthcare setting. Certification in patient transport or a related field. Knowledge of medical terminology and equipment.
