About the Role As a Cloud Consultant, WWPS US Federal DoD ProServe, you will work with U. S. Intelligence Community agencies to design, build, and deploy cloud solutions using the latest cloud computing technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy cloud solutions for U. S. Intelligence Community agencies using AWS technologies Collaborate with customers to understand their application architectures and integration approaches Provide consultative and leadership skills to launch projects on a trajectory to success Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends Participate in deep-dive education and design exercises to create truly innovative solutions built on AWS Work from the customer site, West/Southwest of Augusta, Georgia 3 or more times a week as-needed Requirements and Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Technical degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience 1+ years of software development tools and methodologies Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Experience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware and storage Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA and FedRAMP Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong technical skills in cloud computing, distributed applications, and software development Excellent communication and consultative skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Passion for cloud computing and innovation Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At AWS, we are committed to helping our employees develop their skills and advance their careers.
